Precision Fuel & Hydration keeps me at my best, both physically and mentally, towards the end of long endurance events in the heat and humidity.
John Borstelmann
3x Gravel Worlds Champion
John was crowned the Gravel Worlds Champion in 2019, 2021 and 2023, and continues to focus on racing gravel events between 100km and 320km.
Hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska - the home of the Pirate Cycling League's Gravel Worlds race he won in 2019 - John has contested podiums at several of the most gruelling single-day races in the United States, such as the Dirty Kanza 200-mile and the Mid-South Gravel 100-mile.
John joined the Precision Fuel & Hydration team in late 2019 after successfully using PH 1000 during races following the advice of his coach, Tim Fleming, of Endurance PTC in Mill Valley, California. He also drinks PH 1500 before and after training sessions and races.
Off the bike, John is a bartender and restaurant server by trade, as well as an avid saxophonist and amateur bike mechanic.
