You need 3 things to nail your race nutrition strategy; fluid, sodium and carbohydrate.
Here's what you'll find at the aid stations to help you hit your numbers:
Energy
Available at 6.4, 13.6, and 21.4 miles
- PF 30 Gels 30 grams of carb (120 calories). ‘Original’ flavor to reduce flavour fatigue
- PF 30 Caffeine Gels 30g of carb (120 calories) + 100mg of caffeine
- PF 30 Chews 30g of carb (120 calories) delivered as two 15g (60 calorie) blocks. Original + Mint & Lemon
Hydration
Available at all aid stations
- PH 1000 Electrolyte Drink 1000 milligrams of sodium per 32oz (liter). Low-calorie. Delivered in cups
- Water
