To help you find the perfect gift for the athlete in your life, we've asked our team for their No.1 recommendations for the annual Precision Fuel & Hydration holiday gift guide... 🎁
Stocking Fillers (Under $20)
1. USB Type-C Charger Adapter for Garmin Fenix 7 🔌
Dave is often on the road and finally got fed up with leaving his Garmin charger at home: “Why doesn’t Garmin just charge with USB-C like everything else?
For less than a fiver, he bought a USB Type-C adapter so he can use the same cable that charges his iPhone (Editors note: Rumour has it that Andy actually bought a two-pack and Dave 'borrowed' one...).

2. Sidas Recovery Cryo Gel 🦶
Ricky told me “sometimes your feet just deserve a little TLC.”
My TLC is not taking my feet through ultramarathons, but Ricky can’t help himself! Apparently this gel “has a cooling effect and delivers essential oils to those tired toes, helping you maintain your foot health over the winter if you’re like me and trying to sustain some bigger winter mileage.”

3. Stance Socks 🧦
No Christmas list is complete without socks, right? I've been clocking up some serious miles in his Stance Run Light Crew socks, which come with a lifetime guarantee.
After struggling with blisters on long runs in the past, I haven’t had any issues since switching to these socks. My family can all expect a pair of their casual socks, which come in a range of cool designs, under the tree this year too. The ultimate stocking filler.

4. World of Books Gift Card 📚
If you like books as much as Dawn’s son, then this is a great find: “I'm often asked by one of my sons to buy some very obscure (and therefore likely expensive) books, both non-fiction and fiction
“Since finding World of Books, they offer a huge range (there hasn’t been one I haven’t found yet), trading in pre-loved books of excellent quality at a fraction of the usual price—I wouldn’t be able to cope with Christmas without them!”

Generous Gifts ($20 - $100)
5. Ruffwear Hi & Light™ Dog Harness 🐕
Jack's best training friend is his labrador, Wesley. “This harness helps keep him safe and by my side, and still looks good. I just have to be careful not to share the wrong chews with him!”

6. Crock-Pot Slow Cooker 🍲
“For me, there's nothing better than coming home to a hot, healthy, hearty meal on a cold winter’s day after a hard training session,” says Rach.
“Throwing a load of delicious wholesome ingredients into one pot before work and it all being ready for when I get home to pig out is a lifesaver. It also means the rest of the family can tuck into the goods whenever they want to.” You had me at food! 🤤

7. Rapha Pro Team Winter Socks 🧦
Not one, but two pairs of socks made this mighty list. We’re not desperate for ideas, we do genuinely love socks. Fred reckons these are “very good for the winter if you want to go for a bike ride. I’m always cold, but these keep my toes toasty!”.

8. Arcade Belts 👖
DC found a gem this year. “I borrowed the other Dave’s Arcade Belt at a race this year and immediately bought my own when I got home. They’re designed for active people, so they’re lightweight and durable. They’re really comfortable too, as they custom fit to you using a ‘micro-adjustable’ buckle. The buckle on mine’s plastic, so no need to take it off through airport security. It’s fully machine washable too.”

9. The Piggy by 76 Projects 🚴♂️
Ant has recently joined the swarm of triathletes turning to gravel racing and found the perfect accessory. “I hate carrying all my spares in my back pocket. I decided to grab a Piggy from 76 Projects. It fits over my bottle bosses on my frame and uses the gap between the two bottles to add some extra storage for a spare inner tube, a CO₂ canister, tire levers, and an all-important AirTag.”
“It looks neat and also keeps the added weight low on the bike near the bottom bracket rather than behind the saddle. Using this location for spares also left room for a large saddlebag on a recent overnighter I took as I fully transition to becoming a gravel rider (minus the bushy beard—I’m working on that).”

10. Loop Ear Plugs 💤
Tash says, “as a light sleeper, I’ve discovered that creating a peaceful environment each night is key to getting my much-needed beauty sleep.”
“These earplugs are fairly compact and comfortable, making them perfect for travel and staying a part of my nightly routine. No matter where I am, they help block out distractions even in unfamiliar settings, which has been so helpful to keep some consistency in my sleep patterns.”

11. TRTL Travel Pillow 🛩️
Raff shares his travel secret. “This made economy flights feel like business class for me this year - no dreaded head-nod wake-up, and it packs down way better than a traditional neck pillow.”

12. Manta PRO Sleep Mask 😴
Like Raff and Tash, Minty values a good night’s sleep above all.
“I’ve used lots of eye masks and found them all average. The Manta doesn’t touch your eyelids if you don’t like something pressing on your face, and it genuinely makes it completely dark. With the mask on and your eyes open, you can’t see a single ray of light.
“After reading Matthew Walker’s ‘Why We Sleep,’ I realized how important sleep hygiene is, so I repeat this every night at home to recreate the same environment. It’s no coincidence that my sleep quality is better than most people I know.”

13. Adidas 2-in-1 Running Shorts 🩳
Emily loved these shorts so much that she even wrote a poem in honour of them…
“Looking for something runners adore? These Adidas shorts have so much in store! Even Nike fans will take the bait because these shorts are simply great.
“Pockets galore for keys and phone - perfect for jogs or a stroll alone. A fit that’s comfy, sleek, and true - they’ll move with ease no matter what you do.
“So wrap them up, place them under the tree - a gift that’s stylish and full of glee! For runners, walkers, or a fitness spree, these shorts are the choice - trust me!”

14. PF&H Top Tube Flask 😍
These arrived just in time for Dr. Sam to use at the IRONMAN 70.3® World Championships. And he said he'd let the product description page do the talking...
"The most aero way to carry PF 300 Flow Gel, or other fluid, on your bike. Designed in collaboration with Profile Design, who've been developing awesome cycling components for nearly 40 years." Enough said.

15. Dynaplug® Racer Pro 🛠️
Coming from Australia to the UK has taught Dr. Lindsey some big lessons. Number one is clearly what potholes really look like judging by his gift recommendation:
“I hate flat tires and tubes. In winter, the cold only enhances my disdain. But what grinds my gears most of all is something interrupting my ride. If you’re looking for something that’ll actually make your winter riding way easier, get yourself the only tube of tubeless plugs that actually work for road and gravel."

16. Path Projects James Peak Shirt 👕
Jonny loves his PF&H Sticker Shirt (which isn't available even if you ask Santa really nicely). He also loves this Path Projects James Peak Shirt. It's a breathable, smart running shirt that looks at home on the trail and in the pub.

17. PF&H Sticker Hat 🤠
Speaking of great fashion choices, a tip of the cap to Matt for his suggestion... "Whether the athlete in your life is training, racing or just wants to look good when grabbing a coffee, I'd recommend the PF&H Sticker Hat (and I'm not contractually obliged to say that)".
Of course, other hats are available, including the Splatter Hat, Classic Trail Hat, Bobble Hat, and Bucket Hat... Yes, we like headwear here.

Budget Blowers (Over $100)
18. ASUS ZenScreen Portable Monitor 🖥️
“For someone that’s been on the road over 100 days this year, having a multi-screen setup while on the road has been great,” says Brad.
“This monitor slides right into my bag with my laptop and is super easy to use - plug in, and off you go. It also makes for a great additional monitor while at home.”

19. The North Face Base Camp Duffel Bag 🎒
Rach G says this is “the perfect size to get all your kit in for a weekend away or work trip, and most importantly, it can be squeezed into the cabin luggage allowance sizing if packed strategically - saving you a small fortune on checking in luggage.”
“Really comfy to carry as a rucksack or slung over your shoulder, water-resistant, made from recycled material, and you can pick from a large range of colours so the whole family can have their own… what more could you ask for in a bag?”.

20. LUMI Pod MAX™ Ice Bath 🧊
One of the (growing list of) Hyrox athletes on the squad has suggested cold water therapy. But Mel's not content with a cold shower to keep her injuries at bay…
“Possibly a little controversial (as well as a little chilly) in terms of the many claims made by proponents of cold water therapy,” says Mel. “But I’ve been jumping (or rather descending slowly with a few squeals and some expletives) into my inflatable tub after running, and if nothing else, it’s given me five minutes of calm that I’ve just not found anywhere else.
“I’d recommend buying some chlorine tablets with a floating dispenser to keep it clean and save on water (don’t forget the test strips to make sure you don’t end up with itchy skin or worse).”

21. Shokz OpenSwim Pro Waterproof Bluetooth Headphones 🎧
Andy's high sweat rate has ruined many a pair of open-ear headphones as they've struggled to cope with the sheer volume of fluid. Until now...
“I wear headphones on my daily runs to listen to podcasts, audiobooks, music, and to get audio updates from my watch on pace and distance. I love the Shokz bone conduction range because they don’t bounce or block your ears and allow a decent level of background noise in so that you can maintain awareness of what’s going on around you.
“My issue has always been that I tend to kill any headphones off in just a few months by sweating on them constantly. However, the 100% waterproof version of the Shokz has outlasted any others I’ve had by several months so far. They’re rated for swimming too (though I’ve never used them for that), and the sound quality is brilliant. They’re not cheap, but it does seem that this is a good example of getting what you pay for.”

22. Nike ZoomX Invincible Run Flyknit 3 👟
JP is rarely a man of few words when it comes to running shoes, but his latest pair almost left him speechless… “These shoes have played a huge part in getting me running consistently again,” says JP. “Endless comfort.”

23. Boox Palma E-Reader 📖
"A little niche this one and definitely on the expensive side,” admits Sean, “but if you read as much as we all do at PF&H, you’ll find yourself using many different mediums to get through your book list.
“The Boox Palma is much smaller than a Kindle or Kobo, and it fits perfectly in your back pocket so you can always have your book with you. Same form factor as a phone, and the obvious question then is why not just use your phone? Well, because most importantly it has no SIM, so no incoming distractions, and secondly, it’s e-ink, which is easier on the eyes and the battery lasts for weeks.”

24. Bose QuietComfort Headphones 🎧
“Whether you’re traveling for fun or to a race, having headphones that are comfortable - and that actually work - makes all the difference,” says Lexi. “Or maybe you’re in pre-competition mode and need to drown out the environment with (or without) some tunes… these will have you covered. It doesn’t hurt that they come in some pretty colours too!”

Best of luck with your holiday shopping. And, of course, there's always the gift of fuel and electrolytes to help the athlete in your life perform at their best...
